Job Summary:
Join our culinary team as a Process-Driven R&D Chef, where your expertise will drive innovation and efficiency in our culinary processes. As a key player, you’ll contribute to the creation of new recipes, menu items, and food products, ensuring scalability and consistency in production.

Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead research and development initiatives for new recipes, menu items, and food products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product development with market needs.
  • Design and conduct experiments, refining recipes for taste, quality, and consistency.
  • Develop and document standardized culinary processes for efficient production and scale-up.
  • Source and evaluate ingredients, optimizing recipes while considering quality, cost, and availability.
  • Work closely with production teams to implement and streamline culinary processes.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and new ingredients to drive innovation.
  • Conduct sensory evaluations, gathering feedback for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts, Food Science, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in culinary research and development, preferably in food manufacturing or hospitality.
  • Expertise in all Indian cuisines, including regional variations, spices, cooking techniques, and cultural nuances.
  • Proven track record in developing successful recipes or food products, understanding flavor profiles, food chemistry, and ingredient functionality.
  • Experience in developing and implementing standardized processes in a production environment.
  • Strong project management skills, ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities for effective teamwork.
  • Creative thinking combined with a methodical approach to problem-solving.
