GEOFAST INDUSTRIES INDIA: Quality Assurance

Location: GEOFAST INDUSTRIES INDIA LTD, INDORE

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, or related science courses.

Experience: Minimum 6-8 years of experience in the food industry as an online quality control/quality assurance resource, with FSMS team leader experience. Experience in the bakery industry is preferable. Must have experience in preparing and implementing FSSAI/HACCP/FSMS in a food processing facility.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Ensure FSSAI license is updated and valid.
2. Implement and maintain FSSC system and GMP standards.
3. Track and maintain evaluation metrics, and monitor the cost of poor quality and hold incidents.
4. Take proactive measures to reduce wastage and product recalls.
5. Monitor customer and consumer complaints, conduct detailed root cause analysis, and develop mitigation plans for genuine complaints.
6. Review RFT (Right First Time) on a monthly basis and implement necessary continuous improvement plans for failures.
7. Coordinate external lab testing and environmental monitoring, and execute necessary actions based on results.
8. Possess knowledge of HACCP, food safety management systems, and GMP guidelines, with auditing skills.
9. Demonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders. Be a creative and effective problem solver with sound judgment and unquestionable integrity.
10. Conduct training and capability building sessions on GMP, food safety, and quality requirements.
