Job Opening: Head of Engineering in Rajkot, Gujarat

Position: Head of Engineering
Location: Rajkot, Gujarat

Experience: 12 to 18 years at Senior Level in FMCG only.

Education: B.E (Electrical or Mechanical)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Industry Experience: Candidates must have experience in manufacturing units, preferably within the FMCG and food processing sectors.
• Project Management: Oversee engineering projects and manage both internal and external teams to ensure successful project completion.
• Maintenance Management: Handle the engineering and maintenance needs of the plant, ensuring optimal efficiency of machinery and compliance with legislation and standards. The goal is to enhance equipment productivity, reliability, and maintainability, thus ensuring high plant availability and utilization at minimal cost.
• Maintenance Policy Development: Create and sustain a maintenance policy that aligns with the company’s business strategy. This includes improving process control and quality using digital tools and systems.
• Facility Management: Plan and oversee the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment. Manage the capital expenditure (capex) process in accordance with the company strategy and plant needs, both short and long-term. This requires skills in capex estimations, budgeting, and executing projects on time.
• Proactive Issue Management: Utilize data to anticipate and address issues proactively. Troubleshoot technical problems and provide support to stakeholders across all functions.
