Position: Quality Assurance/Quality Control & Regulatory Compliance Specialist – Food Industry

Responsibilities:

1. Quality Assurance: Implement and manage quality assurance programs adhering to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
2. Product Testing: Develop and conduct testing protocols for raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to specifications.
3. Process Improvement: Analyze production methods for enhancement opportunities, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
4. Supplier Management: Establish and uphold quality standards for incoming raw materials, conducting regular compliance audits.
5. Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of food safety regulations and industry best practices, ensuring the company’s operations meet relevant standards.
6. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, test results, and compliance documentation. Generate regular reports for management review.
7. Training and Support: Guide and train production and quality assurance teams on quality control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field.
• 3-5 years of quality control experience in the food industry, preferably with a focus on nut processing or related products.
• Proficiency in food safety regulations, HACCP, GMP, and other industry standards.
• Experience with quality management systems and statistical process control tools is desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
