Job Description:
As a Quality Manager at Givaudan, you will be based in Roha, reporting directly to the Head of Operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead, coach, train, and support your team towards optimal performance.

General Duties:

Oversee the Quality Department, including Quality Assurance & Quality Control.
Manage day-to-day operations, encompassing pest control, food safety, processing control, water quality, and handling customer and raw material complaints.

Main Activities:

Establish and ensure processes for food safety, contamination control, pest control, and quality are well implemented.
Lead the food safety team, Food Defense TACCP team, and conduct regular reviews of food safety, food defense, and HACCP systems.
Develop and implement the HACCP system, ensuring regular updates as needed.
Report to management on food safety, suggesting improvements considering various requirements.
Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the food safety and quality management system through audits and reviews.

Additional Responsibilities:

Coordinate and conduct certification audits (FSSC 22000, Halal), customer audits, and regulatory-FSSAI audits.
Investigate and address customer and raw material complaints, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to food contamination, pest control, product failure, and quality improvements.

Your Profile:

10-15 years of experience in Food Quality/Safety.
Hands-on experience in Food Safety processes.
Industry experience in food-related sectors (FMCG experience desirable).
Strong leadership skills, managing a team of approximately 5 subordinates.
Educational background with a postgraduate degree in food technology, a Masters in Management, or equivalent.
Additional certification in LEAN Six Sigma is advantageous.

Team player with a strong sense of maturity.
Willingness to work in Roha.
