Position: Senior Executive-Seasoning Purchase
Reporting: Manager Purchase
Experience: 5-8 Years (In FMCG only)
Education: B.Sc./B. Tech in Food Technology
Location: Rajkot

Job Responsibilities:

• Acquire in-depth knowledge of spices and seasoning procurement, including ingredients such as red chili powder, salt, cumin seeds (jeera), asafoetida powder (hing), dry mango powder, and other supporting ingredients.
• Execute procurement processes including purchase orders, goods receipt, and invoice verification.
• Strategize procurement planning and purchase from various markets, incorporating price forecasting for seamless supply operations.
• Collaborate with other departments like Production & Quality to ensure smooth operations.
• Utilize SAP and other tools for efficient procurement management.
• Develop and manage vendors effectively, including vendor identification and performance evaluation.
• Implement stock management practices, conduct stock audits, and maintain reorder levels.
• Oversee the procure-to-pay cycle, sourcing from diverse markets, and ensuring timely supply.
• Conduct market surveys to identify top-quality products and suppliers offering the best value.
• Ensure timely delivery of stocks at the lowest price without compromising on quality.
