We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our Global Operational Quality team as a Quality Specialist. Join the forefront of innovation, where science and creativity converge to shape essential solutions for a better world!
Your Focus
As a Quality Specialist, you will manage a customer region in APAC as part of the Global Operational Quality team within the Pharma Solutions division. Serving as the primary contact for customers in the assigned region, you will handle quality-related inquiries across the entire product range and escalate issues when necessary. This Mumbai-based role reports to the Global Director, Operational Quality & Pharma.
How You Will Contribute
- Monitor and address product and service quality complaints for customers in the region.
- Identify and escalate customer issues to relevant internal functions.
- Collaborate with various functions (e.g., AD&l, Account Managers, Quality Managers, Regulatory) to resolve customer issues.
- Support customer specification and audit requests.
- Contribute to Pharma Solutions quality strategy within the region.
- Address customer queries, working collaboratively with appropriate roles (e.g., QM, Tech Info).
- Update product documentation.
- Assist with quality-related projects.
- Support Quality Agreement work processes.
Job Requirements
What You Need for Success
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Food Technology, or a relevant discipline.
- 4-5 years of experience in product safety and regulatory requirements for food, excipients, cosmetics, and/or API.
- Experience in a Good Manufacturing Practice environment.
- Proficient in conducting root cause analysis and investigations.
- Proven expertise with SAP and Salesforce (preferred).
- Ability to work independently, managing work progression and timelines.
- Capacity to handle challenging conversations with a calm and solution-oriented approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong technical writing experience.
- Initiative beyond the scope of assigned projects/tasks.
- Meticulous, self-driven, agile, and customer-focused.
- Ability to make timely decisions, even with incomplete information and under tight deadlines and pressure.
