Job Opportunity: Executive- HSEQ at Sodexo, Ahmedabad

Sodexo is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced professional for the role of Executive- HSEQ, based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Objective for this Role:

The selected candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring processes related to Hygiene and Food Safety within the business. Key responsibilities include:

  • Adhering to QHSE Policies: Understanding the complexity of the site while strictly adhering to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) policies.
  • Safety Standards Maintenance: Ensuring safety standards are maintained and continually seeking ways to improve them. Investigating all reported food safety or Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) incidents thoroughly and completing corrective actions.
  • Training and Development: Delivering training presentations to operations teams regularly.
  • Collaborating with Regional Teams: Working with Sodexo’s Regional team to improve overall QHSE standards, conducting regular audits in Food Safety, Quality, and Occupational Safety within food sites in the region, and completing follow-up actions.
  • Vendor and Purchase Coordination: Following up with the vendor and purchase team regarding any deviations from specifications/quality in raw and packing materials.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensuring compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations related to food safety and occupational health.
  • Risk Assessment: Conducting risk assessments and hazard analysis to identify potential safety hazards and implementing corrective measures.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of safety inspections, audits, and incidents, and preparing detailed reports for management review.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices in hygiene and food safety.
  • Emergency Response: Developing and implementing emergency response plans and conducting regular drills to ensure preparedness.

Candidate Profile:

We are looking for a dynamic individual willing to take on new challenges. The ideal candidate should have:

  • Experience: 3-5 years of work experience in institutional catering.
  • Educational Qualification: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.

Compensation:

  • CTC: ₹35,000 – ₹40,000 per month
