Position Senior Executive – Blending

Company : DIAGEO India

Location: Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India

About DIAGEO India:
DIAGEO India is seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Executive in Blending to join our team in Aurangabad, Maharashtra.

Qualifications:

  • Science Post Graduate or equivalent, preferably in Chemistry/Microbiology/Bio-chemistry/Bio-technology/Food technology/DIFAT.
  • Lead auditor experience is preferred.

Experience:

  • 4-7 years in Blending & spirits selection, Quality Assurance, and Quality Systems in Distillery, Brewery, and Beverage Industry.

Key Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in Blending within the IMFL Industry.
  • Basic knowledge of state Excise related to Blending operations in any IMFL Industry.
  • Experience in sourcing of ENA.
  • Sensory evaluation of spirits, blends & water.
  • Working experience in WTP (BWW, DMW, RAW) and overall operation.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 22000, FSSC 22000).
  • Experience in developing and controlling quality-related SOPs.
  • WTP operations and water balancing experience.
  • Familiarity with SAP and Microsoft Office.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Excellent coaching, influencing, and communication skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Procurement of spirits in coordination with the Commercial department.
  • Blend preparation as per the production plan.
  • Selection of spirits & HBS as per TC/0QC guidelines.
  • Approval of all blends from Unit QA & OQC.
  • Analysis of raw materials, intermediate blends, and reporting findings to the unit head.
  • Coordination with other departments for rejection failures.
  • Calibration of lab equipment, development of calibration plans, and operations management.
  • Responsible for equipment maintenance as per supplier recommendations.
  • Assist quality manager in self-audits of GRMS/GMP.
  • Ensure liquid quality compliance and adherence to quality standards.
