Description:
FDC Ltd. is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Officer / Sr. Officer – R&D (Foods). The ideal candidate should hold an M.Sc. in Nutraceuticals or be a Food Technologist with 2 to 4 years of experience.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and scientific studies for New Product Development.
- Manage statutory requirements for New Product Development.
- Design formulations, conduct lab scale trials, and interpret research and analysis results.
- Ensure label compliance according to updated standards.
- Work on formulations adhering to BIS & FSSAI Norms.
- Provide input in drafting and implementing new legal laws.
- Identify vendors and sources for raw materials and packing materials.
- Prepare feasibility reports based on trial data, costing, and sales forecasts.
- Conduct scale-up batches for stability studies of new products.
- Prepare MFR, BMR, and FPS for technology transfer and product commercialization.
- Assist the Packaging Development Department in label and artwork development.
- Facilitate tech transfer during product commercialization.
- Conduct site visits as necessary.
